Common problems and solutions of pe water supply pipes

Some unexpected quality problems often occur in the production process of pe water supply pipes, which are generally caused by problems with equipment or raw materials. Next, I will introduce the common problems and solutions of PE water supply pipes.


1. There are scratches on the outer surface of the pe pipe. Reason: Sand and stone are attached to the sizing sleeve, support plate or sealing ring. Solution: Clean the sizing sleeve, support plate or sealing ring.


2. Corrugations appear on the pipe surface. Reason: Insufficient cooling, improper seal ring size, causing vibration. Solution: Increase the water intake of the sizing sleeve or increase the distance between the mouth touch and the sizing sleeve. Check whether the size of the vacuum groove sealing ring is small. If it is small, replace or appropriately reduce the vacuum degree of one vacuum groove and increase the vacuum degree of two vacuum grooves.


3. There are pits on the surface (mainly the inner wall) and it is not shiny. Reason: The melt temperature is inappropriate or the raw materials are problematic, the raw materials contain impurities, the inner wall between the mouth and the core is not cleaned, and the local temperature is too high to cause aging. Solution: check the raw materials, clean up or transition for a period of time, check the temperature sensor.


Four, pits on the surface of pe pipes. Reason: raw material tide, bubble burst, uneven water volume in the sizing sleeve. Solution: Dry the raw materials, adjust the water volume or replace the sizing sleeve.


5. Bright spots on the surface. Reason: insufficient water in the sizing sleeve. Solution: increase the water volume of the sizing sleeve or replace a sizing sleeve with a large amount of water.


6. The inner and outer walls are axially rough. Reason: The water content of the raw material is too high. Solution: raw material drying treatment


7. The outer surface waterline. Reason: The local water eye of the sizing sleeve is blocked, causing excessive water volume in individual water eye. Solution: clean the sizing sleeve


8. Inner wall grooves (mostly appear in thick-walled pipes). Reason: The wall thickness is too thick, the melt is difficult to cool, and flow occurs. Solution: Try the intermediate cooling system to reduce the temperature of the mouth and core.


9. Uneven pipe wall thickness.


the reason:


1. The mouth touch or core touch bolt is loose, and the mouth touch gap adjustment is inappropriate.


2. The temperature of the mouth touch or core touch is uneven, resulting in inconsistent material flow.


3. Misalignment of the sizing sleeve and the mouth, the spiral shunt shuttle or the screen is blocked.


Solution:


1. Tighten bolts or adjust the gap between the mouth and touch.


2. Check the heating ring and temperature sensor.


3. Adjust the sizing sleeve and the mouth-touch centering fold shunt shuttle or screen.


10. Low elongation at break. Reasons: the raw materials are not smelt well; the orientation increases and the cleanliness increases. Solution: Adjust the process temperature to strengthen the plasticizing effect; increase the distance between the mouth touch and the sizing sleeve.


11. Large ellipticity. Reason: gravity. Solution: add correction device.
